BIRMINGHAM have handed a reserve berth to Jack Thomas - as the 20-year-old makes his comeback to Championship racing next season.
Thomas spent the first half of this year with Leicester before taking a break from the sport, but now returns at Perry Barr, where he won the British Under-21 semi-final in 2018.
Brummies boss Laurence Rogers said: “We spoke to a few riders about our second reserve position.
“But Jack was the one name Bomber (Chris Harris) suggested to us as well after being impressed by him when they both rode for Glasgow last year.
“I have to say when we spoke to Jack he was buzzing to have the chance to come to Birmingham, and we’re excited to see what he can do.” www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.37730
