From the SGB website: ::: PLYMOUTH’S fund-raising for their new air fence have been boosted by three of the club’s riders joining a charity bike ride.
Henry Atkins, Saul Bulley and Richard Andrews are set to cycle from Exeter to Plymouth to help the new promotion, with the previous air fence at the St Boniface Arena having been vandalised late last season.
Andrews said: “The club have some big outlay and we all want to do our bit to support them.
“What Henry has suggested and Saul has joined in with is brilliant and there is a Go Fund Me set up that fans all over the UK have been pledging money to.
“I have hit some people and businesses I know and within a day I have already got over £600 pledged and will be pushing this right up to the bike ride. We are all having these sponsor forms, even the lads not actually doing the ride, and getting backing.”
