The West Coast (California) is the USA's busiest area. There are tracks in North California and South California. The leading USA riders are based in this area.

The weekly tracks in Southern California in 2014: Wednesday - Industry Racing - City of Industry - www.industryracing.com Friday - Pirate Speedway - San Bernardino - www.piratespeedway.com Saturday - Costa Mesa Speedway - Costa Mesa - www.costamesaspeedway.net There will be several other tracks hosting events from time to time but those are the four main tracks in California right now. An interesting diversion in regard to 'oldie' speedway riders: In South Africa, Hansie Kleynhans, the present Northern Regions Champion in his 'Speedway Stars' class, will be 70 in July. He was the previous season's National Champ for that class.
