Will be interesting to see how the Wolves new line up works, we're making the journey up the M6 for this, anyone else going? Wouldn't want to predict anything about how we'll do there, although I'm sure we'll get our usual warm welcome..

What in the Beemobile No, I don't like taking him to away meetings, he might get damaged ( well that's what I tell Cousteau anyway, that way I can have a drink )...

Wolves by 22......
Erm....a bit tempted to go being stuck in Coventry today but it looks I will be able to get off early. To spend four hours killing time in Cov or Wolverhampton would be torture to my East Midlands soul.
Instead, I will shall wait in the halls of education until just gone past five and then go home with my new Joe 90 look and playing Elbow's new album all the way down the M69.

Yes, I've also tipped Wolverhampton for the play-offs - they look like one of the very few promotions who actually understood the dynamics of a 38.85 league. My other play-offs tips are Lakeside, Eastbourne and Poole.

And it finished with a convincing win for the Wolves (53:37). Aside from Kenneth Hansen, who scored 2+1, all the Wolverhampton riders were among the points. And especially good to see Ales Dryml scoring 7+1. For the Bees it was largely a night to forget, especially for their reserve pairing, who managed just a lone point between them (that point obviously coming from being on the wrong end of a 5-1 in Ht 2) from eight rides. And Simon Stead only managed 5 points from four outings. And what about management? Was Peter Oakes in charge? And if he was, what possessed him to use Janniro for the Tactical Ride?
