So, Wolverhampton are complete and, compared with other sides, they don't look too bad, do they? In a 38.85 league I'd take a heat leader trio of Lindgren, Iversen and Howe. I don't expect Ales Dryml to do much, early on, but at Wolves he'll be given the time to gain confidence and will probably drop to reserve early in the season, where he could do very well. Much will depend on the young Danes, Hansen and Klindt, but they're both highly rated and should do okay. I like the look of the Wolves and think they'll be there or thereabouts come the play-offs.

???So now Wolves appear to me anyway to have a better number eight than many teams reserves, possibly including their own! I know that they have a living to earn but it really is a pity that these riders cannot be persuaded to take a chance in the Elite League.

I've never been too impressed whenever I've seen Chris Neath. That said, I've only ever seen him around the cruel, crazy town's 368 metre circuit.

He's immaculate round Hoddesdon. But saying that, so are all of the Rye House riders - too much of a home track advantage.

I've never been too impressed whenever I've seen Chris Neath. That said, I've only ever seen him around the cruel, crazy town's 368 metre circuit. Neathy averaged 5.36 last year as Lakeside's #8 from the eleven meetings he was utilised. That included a 14, paid 16 at Reading and he was our 'match winner' on many occasions. In fact, Chris is one of the small band of riders who actually seem to ride better in the EL than they do in the PL. Neathy could prove to be an astute choice of #8 for Wolves, and imo they've certainly chosen one of the best available.
