It wont be a 2008 signing, just an asset. Most likely Joe Haines

The other Dane Nicolai talks about 2007 and 2008... 16.11.07 - Season has end, and plans for next season is started This season (2007) has been a bit up and down, and most of the people on the sideline maybe think I have had a shit season, but i think its mostly in the leagues. On the continent I have had some very good results like Under-19 European Champ., Under-19 Nordic Champ., 3rd in the Golden Band, 3rd in the Nordic final, 2nd in the Under-21 Nordic final etc. So at that point the season have been very good! But I have through the season been hit by injuries and a car accident, which gave me a major setback. I have already all my contracts ready for next season (2008), and I'm really going for it - because I want it to be MY season! My clubs for 2008 is: Zielona Gora (PL) is where I have signed for a couple of meetings, and hope to help them go in to the play-offs - hopefully to battle for gold. Smederna (S) is the Eskilstuna clubs 1st team, and its going to be my first year for them. The last two years have I been riding for there 2nd team "Team Bikab", which have been very good. Wolverhampton (GB) is going to be a big and hard challange for me. Not only I have a lot more meetings and have to fly in and out, but I also have to be away from my family for a long time. But I'm very sure that it will give me a big boost in the right direction! Outrup SC (DK) is my home club in Denmark, and I also live in the town of Outrup. I have the most of my sponsors here, and I'm very happy to been a part of the team again this year. Brokstedt (D) is going to be a club where I'm riding if it fits into my calender, and if there is space on the team. Its going to be my 3rd season for the German club. It wont be a 2008 signing, just an asset. Most likely Joe Haines Indeed it is: WOLVERHAMPTON have continued to add to their asset base by signing 16-year-old Joe Haines. Haines was part of Scunthorpe's all-conquering squad in the Conference League in 2007, and also gained several outings in the Premier with Redcar, who are also promoted by Wolves boss Chris Van Straaten. Last winter, Wolves snapped up the hugely promising Tai Woffinden, who will continue to race in the Premier League for Rye House next year, and now Haines has been loaned out to Workington to continue his speedway development. Van Straaten said: "Naturally there were other clubs interested but he felt Wolverhampton was the right club for him and I think he was impressed by the direction we're going in with the youngsters. "We're laying down the foundations for the next five-years here at Monmore Green and we firmly believe we are doing things right." Like all Elite League clubs, Wolves are awaiting confirmation of the points limit for next year's Elite League campaign, but young Dane Kenneth Hansen has already indicated that he wishes to return, and the evidence of his appearances last season - which were interrupted by injury - is that he would prove to be a more than useful reserve. Taken from the BSF:
HAPPY HANSEN IN MONMORE RETURN Wednesday 28 November 2007 WOLVERHAMPTON Speedway have snapped up talented Danish youngster Kenneth Hansen on a full-time contract.
Hansen, 20 last month, has pledged his future to the ambitious Elite League club who now have two confirmed starters for next season with fellow countryman Nicolai Klindt already signed.
The Hansen deal was completed during a whistle-stop trip to Copenhagen by delighted Monmore Green promoter Chris Van Straaten.
He will start next season on a four-point average and is more than capable of adding to that figure.
Said Van Straaten: "This is wonderful news for the club and once again it underlines how determined we are to work with younger riders.
"Kenneth showed great potential last season and to have him as an asset of the club is tremendous, we are delighted."
Hansen, meanwhile, insisted there was always only one club he wanted to sign for after joining the Parrys International Wolves last May when he lost his place at Workington through injury.
He said: "I said all along that I wanted to be back at Wolverhampton and when Chris met me at the airport and we finalised everything I just wanted to tell the world.
"The meeting took place at the Hilton Hotel at Copenhagen Airport and the fact that Chris actually travelled over to sort things out underlines just how professional and determined the club are.
"It is a contract that I am unbelievably happy about and this is absolutely a step in the right direction for me and my career.
"Wolves is a very professional club with big ambitions and a fabulous promotion. The club has a reputation for being on of the best places to ride in the UK, and I can only agree with that after riding for them this year.
"I just cannot wait for the season to start, bring it on!"

Let's hope SAnta buys him an AtoZ and a diary for 2008. Then he might turn up when he's supposed to!

Having lost out to Eastbourne with Scott Nicholls and Simon Stead looking a near certainty for Coventry, Wolves will now have to persaude Peter Karlsson to do another season.
PK still has alot to over and even at his age, his 8.66 average is quite modest in the league next season and Wolves will need him to spearhead the team with Lindgren and Howe.
1 Peter Karlsson 8.66 2 Nicolai Klindt 4.00 3 Fredrik Lindgren 7.75 4 Kenneth Hansen 4.00 5 David Howe 6.46 6 Will Lawson 3.64 7 Christian Hefenbrock 3.93
38.44
Would have been nice to have one or both of Hansen or Klindt at reserve, but Heffenbrock and Lawson should do well at reserve and most of the team have potential to improve.

Posibbly Hansen and Lindgren will improve, the rest are gonna struggle to take us anywhere near the play offs! However, ill support them

What would happen if Hansen and Klindt were 5th and 6th in the averages at the start of the season. Who would be in reserve

Change PK for Davey Watt & a rider with an average up to 4.98 could be in that side instead of the Heffer. Not that i give a shit about Wolves,if they want a weaker sidethat's their problem.
