According to reports "Down Under" the trial of Darcy Ward and a "seventeen-year-old-who-can't-be-named-for-legal-reasons" was adjourned until 19 January 2012 after a hearing yesterday. Assuming that the travel restrictions are still imposed it looks like Ward isn't going to be spending too much time in his homeland this off-season, while the teams that he is scheduled to ride for next season will be left with precious little time if the worst comes to the worst.

Well, according to Ward's facebook page he'll be home in Oz on Sunday so any travel restrictions must have been relaxed. So maybe another factor to figure into the equation is will he come back to the UK next year or disappear into the outback?
Reading some of the reports from today's hearing it does seem that although it's a serious allegation Ward has been charged with, it's the one who cannot be named who could be in real big trouble.

With the one who cant be named very un-likely to return to his 2011 home track,I think theres a decent chance he might not start next season with a team place.
