The new season has started, there is much to debate, so come on Weirdos take a couple of minutes to post something and we can try to return this forum to something like it was.
It's the place for open and honest debate along with some controversy but none of the bullshit from the BSF.........please do your bit and contribute !!!

It's a busy time of year for me  I think the problem is Kev, the 'are they in or are they out' debate has so completely overshadowed everything else. I don't think I'm alone in saying that while I still have every sympathy for the fans of both clubs, I'm completely sick of it now. I don't wish to rub C&P fans up the wrong way, but even our press & practice yesterday was overshadowed by it, because it was all the press wanted to talk about! Yes, I appreciate how lucky I am to have a club that's participating and to have a press & practice to attend, but I can't help wondering when is it all going to end? Now with the silencer situation we have yet more issues to contend with. I heard yesterday that the FIM were voting last night on whether or not to continue with new silencers in this country, and if that vote was a yes, then every club that has a Pole is going to need to find a replacement - unless you're Birmingham of course and are tracking KK who seems to have exemption?  ? So, here we are, one week before the season proper starts and we don't know if we have an 8 or 10 club league, we don't know if we have new silencers or old, and consequently we don't know the line ups for any team that contains a Pole. Maybe I will wake up from this nightmare and some stage and realise it's all been a bad dream!   |

I have tried on here, but it gets a bit odd speaking to yourself . Anyway, it has been a weird (excuse the pun) winter, and although I have a team to support, thankfully as for about 6 weeks it was touch and go whether we would run if we couldn't drop down, I have found it quite hard to write anything as I felt it would be crass on other supporters TBH, but like Munners quite frankly I'm sick to the teeth of all of the shennanigans that has gone on over the winter. And now Poland are flexing their muscles , it makes you wonder at the timing doesn't it? maximum disruption I suspect Anyway, I hope we can all move on and enjoy our sport.!!! Genghis sorry to hear your news, hope your Father is on the mend and you can rekindle your love of speedway once the season starts, well for us that is tonight |

Zonks, sorry I'm a bit pissed off with speedway at the moment, and I've got my important things on my mind, such as the fact that my dad came out of hospital a couple of weeks ago. Sorry to hear that Genghis. Thoughts are with you. Cheers Munners. I'm not too bad, I'm just knackered most of the time. I think it's because I'm only half-sleeping, to keep an ear out for him during the night. He's slipped down to the floor a couple of times - he hasn't fallen hard, but it's still an effort to lift him back to his feet, especially when half asleep at 4am in the morning. He's doing OK really considering he was in hospital for 4 months. Anyway, you can see that my priority isn't speedway at the moment, especially given all the stupid messing about going on. |

My mum from suffering a bad stroke, 3yrs ago has a hospital electric bed, with cot sides & bumpers.
Hope your dad gets better soon

What is the feeling in Sweden about the possible ban for the Poles, and what impact do you think it would have on Swedish Speedway ? |

He doesn't actually slide off the bed, but rather slides to the floor sometimes while using the commode at night. We've been given all sorts of things to help out. It's more draining than anything. A bit of speedway on Sunday (the Adam Skornicki testimonial at Wolves) will help.  |
