And more news: "Robins Thumped at Home Shock" And breaking news: Coventry Thumped at Home Shock. Yes, after a truly shameful performance in the Elite League final, Swindon dished out a hiding to champions Coventry at Brandon tonight, with Poles Ulamek and Chrzanowski, so uninspiring at Brandon in that Elite League final, scoring well.

I wish Lee well. The lad get's alot of stick & some of it undeserved. His illnesses when he was at Brandon seem to have stuck in some peoples minds but he's never been as bad as some of these pesky foreigners

Thanks. I ask because silly season has started and as usual the majority of predicted/wanted Eastbourne teams have Lee in them for some reason.

Lee is highly likely to return and if he does go it will be more to do with points limits than anything else. I imagine that he will be more desirable to the promotion than Charlie or Seb, to pick the comparable averaged riders.

SWINDON Robins' co-owner Terry Russell has revealed that the club are planning a major celebration to mark their 60th Birthday later this year. It will take place on Sunday 29 June, following the British Grand Prix meeting at Cardiff. The club are hoping to attract some of the world's top riders to the event. Russell commented: "We will be putting on a very big meeting on that Sunday and the details will be announced as soon as we have them." From: www.swindon-speedway.co.ukEdit: a quick look at the calendar shows that Eastbourne and Belle Vue are riding that day, so it rules out riders from those teams immediately. It's also the provisional day for the Welsh Open, and the World Cup qualifiers, involving the USA, Hungary, Latvia and Germany, although I don't suppose that will have much effect on the line up.
