A police cordon remains at Hoddesdon’s Rye House Speedway following an altercation involving a number of people in the early hours of this morning (Friday March 11).
The altercation involved four men, three of whom were injured as a result. Two men have received hospital treatment, one received injuries to his arm and the second injuries to his chest. A third man received cuts and bruises.
Rye House Rockets were holding their official press session today and Rye House promoter Len Silver told the Mercury he did not want to comment on the incident.
A 51-year-old man from Maidstone, Kent has been arrested on suspicion of affray. He is currently in police custody."
Is it just me, or does it seem unusual that Len Silver declined to comment ?
