Plymouth’s move for Ben Barker has been put in doubt after the BSPA have delayed sanctioning the move. Since Coventry’s decision to pull out of the league, Barker has had his contract reverted to the association but recent revelations about Coventry looking to resolve their issues with the BSPA the move has been put on hold..
Plymouth Owner Mike Bowden is still confident that the club can get their man.
Bowden said to thisisplymouth.co.uk: “It will take about a week to sort out, but Ben has definitely decided to come to us and a deal has been agreed with him. Because of Coventry’s situation, the association has put a temporary embargo on any of their riders moving anywhere else until everything is sorted out. It’s all about speedway rules and regulations and we will go along with it.”
