My copy hasn't arrived yet, but I understand there is a reference, in the Redcar section, to the possibility that Kenni Larsen may be Lakeside bound in 2011.
I'm assuming this could be part of the deal that sees Stuart Robson riding for Newcastle next year, but if anyone can shine any light on this, or indeed quote the Speedway Star, I'd be very grateful.

Kenni Larsen will ride for Smederna in Swedish Allsvenskan 2011 as well. as they race Thursday there might be schedule conflicts although Smederna will have other riders to use if Kenni have to ride in England on a occasional Thursday.

Thanks for that. I'm sure if Kenni is riding for Lakeside that the flights from Stockholm to Stansted are frequent enough for the travel to not be a problem.

It is indeed in the Recar section Kev. Brian Havelock says how disappointed he is that Robbo signed for Newcastle, when he thought he'd put a good offer in the table and has been in negotiations for a while. He says that it must have something to do with either Newcastle coming up with a good sponsor, or Kenni Larsen looking likely to be Lakeside bound. No mention of Larsen in the Newcastle section tho.

Nyköping (Skavsta NYO) or Västerås (Hässlö VST) are Closer and both are operated by Ryanair.

Skavsta was where I was refering to actually.....isn't it considered to be Stockholm even though it really is a fair old hike?

It's usually considered to be one of the Stockholm airports, although it's a fair hike. That's a yes then ? yes, both Västerås and Nyköping have Stockholm Stockholm-Västerås and Stockholm-Skavsta. Both are 100km+ from Stockholm. In a wortst case scenario it isn't that far to the real Stockholm airpiorts (Arlanda and Bromma) either but then you have to go with either SAS or BA.
