It's the PLRC at Blunsdon on the 30th September at 6pm. The line-up was due to be announced a fortnight ago, but, rather typically, hasn't.
It should be the top averaged rider from each club, plus the next highest averaged rider in the PL, so going by that I'd hazard a guess the line-up will be something like (providing those with injuries recover in time):
Edit *confirmed line-up*
Jacek Rempala (Berwick) Jason Lyons (Birmingham) Kaj Laukkanen (Edinburgh) Trent Leverington (Glasgow) Chris Holder (IOW) Daniel Nermark (Kings Lynn) Jason King (Mildenhall) Josef Franc (Newcastle) Michal Rajkowski (Newport) Chris Kerr (Redcar) Tai Woffinden (Rye House) Andre Compton (Sheffield) Emil Kramer (Somerset) Lee Complin (Stoke) James Wright (Workington) Tomas Topinka (Kings Lynn) wildcard.

Unlikely that Makovsky will be there - presumably being replaced by the Weirdity, unless, of course, the powers that be decide it's Makovsky or nobody for the border club and draft in another rider. Why not follow the ELRC example and have a local rider (i.e., Swindon) drafted into the line up, Leigh Adams, for example?

Be interesting to see how many of the officially announced line up actually ride and how many break down en route

I'm fairly sure it was intended as one, but don't rule anything out - this is speedway after all. And remember Chris Harris got a "wild card" nomination for the ELRC, so I guess there may be one in the PLRC too. I'm a little concerned about this meeting actually. After seeing what Jonathan Chapman did to the KIngs Lynn track, which is a brilliant race track, I'm deeply concerned what he may do with the poor race track that Swindon have.

Be worse if they let Meredith loose on it. The trouble I feel, is that the likes of Chapman go out of their way to put on a great show and decide to do this and that with the track to make it better. And all they succeed in doing is fucking it up - better off treating it as just another event. Personally, I'd draft over a gang from say Bydgoszcz or Leszno to do the track - they do a cracking job for the Ekstraliga.

I agree, these meetings shouldn't be any different (track prep wise) than any other meeting held on the track. The track should always be prepared to give exciting and safe racing, if they prepare it in any other way for any other meeting, then questions should be asked!!

I hope you don't mind me correcting your error but Jonathon Chapman does not prepare the Lynn track, that's done by Buster Chapman. From all reports Buster apologised for the state of the track which was purely and simply because of a the rain threatening which delayed putting water on the track. Normally this would have been corrected before the start but some flapperjack decided they couldn't do it. As Sky aren't televising the PLRC the same problem should not arise. Pity it ain't on TV cos it would be nice to see if PL riders could make that track entertaining

However, as series organiser, or whatever you like to call him, Jonathan, I'm sure you'd agree, has to take the ultimate responsibilty as he should be overseeing everything. Let's hope for the sake of the travelling fans who pay out hard earned money to attend these events that the PLRC is a huge improvement on the ELRC, and everyone comes away happy.

Not according to the statement today on the BSPA site from Terry Russell. He says himself and Tony Steele were in charge of what happens on track. That is for televised meetings though of course. ;D
