Seems the first signing is Leigh Lanham, subject to agreement with Ipswich of course.

Lanham has indeed now been signed, along with Kyle Legault,Alex Davies and Robin Aspregen. It`s the team I thought we`d get,the only change being Jones for Wato. Quite content with it,but I still think Jonesy will struggle to achieve his average.

First league match of the season, and somehow,Somerset managed to cheat their way to 50 points and beat us at home Now,Ronnie Allen was the ref.....and we have Kevin Brown as the Wasps team manager....it`s not a good combination....

I`m a bit late to update our fixtures ;D After the Somerset defeat,we then raced against Ipswich, which we lost at home again, mainly due to losing Robin in heat 1 in an awful looking crash, just shudder to think what damage he would`ve had if we didn`t have an airfence,as it is,he`s out for six weeks with a broken bone in his foot. Last Friday night we were at home to Rye House, and after being on the backfoot for most of the meeting,we drew level in heat 11,but 4 lucky 5-1`s to the Rockets saw them to the 4 points ;D Then last night, when we were all expecting a right humping at Rye House,we went there and won Just can`t fathom our team out all this season so far,we must be just plain weird....

Another wierd performance last night,34-32 down after 11 heats,I thought we`d be in with a chance of a point at least, but we lost by 10 in the end. Tomorrow night,we face the Moanarchs, home win looks possible.

[/quote] Yep,it sure is,not sure I`ve ever seen two riders,Legault and Aspegren,be on 5-1`s twice and end up giving them away ;D Next up is Workington, but I`ll be in Corfu with Will and Kate, can`t believe they`re flying out on Easyjet ;D

Another wierd happening at Newport, out goes Mark Jones,in comes Justin Sedgmen. Rumour has it we tried to sign him during the winter(it`s a true rumour),but an EL club just wanted too much money for him. I wonder what`s changed

And the season gets more wierd by the week, out goes Nilsson and Davis,in comes the previously dropped Jones and Jason Doyle joins us from Rye House. Rumours abound that these changes are not our last....
