A good result tonight, and to be honest I'm surprised we won, let alone collect the three points on offer. We did however, and I believe after the meetings tonight at Lakeside and Coventry, we move up into third place.

He's scored 3 maximums from his last 4 appearances in England, Poland and Sweden. Not bad for a gating tart sicknote eh Not sure about the last bit though Genghis. Much as I'd love to see him in claret and blue next year, I fear the Abbey awaits

In the meantime, I wonder if he's got his excuse sorted out for the ELRC yet?

I thought Richardson said he wouldn't ever ride for Swindon again?? Did he? I never heard that. Last season when we were at Swindon, he was interviewed on centre green and said that he hoped he'd return there one day as he'd always considered it to be his 'home'. Guess I've always just expected he'd go back, but I'd have him back in the team like a shot. It's his influence off track as well as on it. He's always the first to help a rider who is struggling, and once again last night, he lent his brand new spare bike to Robbo who managed to destroy two engines and one bike. Rico has never used the bike in a meeting, and he told me that Robbo has now done more laps on it than he has ;D He has a good team around him too, and they're all decent, down to earth people. I was expecting a prima donna when he joined us but he's as far from that as you can get.

Is it my imagination, or have Lakeside improved since has came back in the team....??
