A double dose of British GP action this weekend as the speedway and F1 both come home.
Unsurprisingly, Mark Webber's chassis was damaged after his crash at Valencia, but instead of trying to salvage it, Webber will be using an old one of Vettel's.
Damon Hill, not content with unfairly penalising the Schum at Monaco, has shifted his attention to McLaren, saying the battle between Button and Dangermouse" has been on simmer but is going to start to boil over".
Hamilton's reply: "I don't really have a reaction. It's always very, very interesting to hear past World Champions talk about present drivers and World Champions; and to hear their thoughts."
Really? I personally think we drag them out far too frequently for interviews, and they don't say much worth listening to.
Anyway, looking forward to the weekend, in spite of Eddie Jordan. Both qualifying and the race are on at 1pm.

So much for the rumours Kubica was going to replace Schumacher - he's signed a deal to stay on with Renault until 2012.

Really? I personally think we drag them out far too frequently for interviews, and they don't say much worth listening to. To be honest, most sportpeople don't have much to say that's worthwhile. I really don't know why people listen to them so much, although I suspect there's such an expectation from the media that there's pressure to say controversial things at times. However, sportspeople, actors and pop stars should stick to what they do best, not expound on the order of the universe.

Another victory for the Golden boy one would imagine. So the Golden boy puts in yet another golden performance to snatch pole, Webber assumes his rightful place as Red Bull's number 2. Hamilton and Alonso falter yet again and Button starts from out in the car park. Let's hope Webber doesn't find himself way down the field after 50 yards this week, and can do what he's paid for, namely the 'grunt work' for Vettel.

Could be fireworks with Alonso and Lewis so close on the grid... Looking forward to this race.

Well done to Mark Webber, who gave the Golden Boy a lesson on the opening bends, despite having an inferior car.

And Red Bull's "No. 1" driver looks a bit pissed off. ;D Poor little Golden Boy.

Huge amounts of tension in the Red Bull camp - no surprise when Vettel was given the new design front wing and not Webber. But it's not usually so public.
Vettel gave an interview talking about the past and seeing people's many faces, Webber on his radio commenting "not bad for a number two driver" and getting a reply along the lines of maybe you'll manage a smile now, and Horner's fixed grin when asked if there were troubles in the team saying it all.

Mark Webber and Jason Crump friends, now there's a surprise!! both cut from the same cloth, completely selfish and with not an ounce of class or team spirit. Congratulations to Holder for his GP win and to Vettel for finishing so high up the field, and to both for showing such maturity and humility in their interviews.
