After a short break Elite League action resumes as the Hammers from down the side of the lake head to the Showground to tackle the Peterborough Panthers.
Niels-Kristian Iversen is back in the Panthers side and Kenneth Bjerre is bringing his GP form to Cambridgeshire which included lowering the track record in the recent meeting against Belle Vue.
Lakeside will want to improve on their last outing which was a narrow home win over one of the basement side's, Eastbourne, and will be looking to take something from this meeting to further enhance their play-off chances.
The big question is how will Pearson, Tatum or Louis and The Pit Girl get their tongue around the pronunciation of Peterborough latest Pole, Norbert Kosciuch.

Not a bad meeting overall but must the Panthers be on again next week? ?? I didn't mean any offence by it Zonkers but I just think if you're on SKY one week you shouldn't be the next. OK, with only 9 teams the TV folks aren't exactly spoilt for choice

Don't know if the track is usually like that, but it gave a few riders a hard time. Not too many decent races either, but Schlein and Robbo were fantastic entertainment - a few times I had my heart in my mouth thinking there was no way they'd stay on the bike, but they did. And good to see Bjerre scoring like a GP rider should in the EL.
