With Star Lady having picked the legend that is 4-time World Champion Barry Briggs as the winner for Weeks 13 & 14, it's time for a new thread.
Is there anyone who hasn't picked the Mutt's Nuts yet this year, who would like to? The winner is to be chosen on Saturday, July 3. First to volunteer who hasn't picked yet this year gets it.

Wacks, OK, your turn to choose. Well, I assume you're volunteering to pick the winner, as opposed to nominating yourself as the Mutt's Nuts.

I would like to nominate Lukas Dryml for his paid 9 display at Lakeside last night. ;D Oh how predictable I'd like to nominate Peter Mole who has stepped in to safeguard the future of Newport Speedway.......I'm sure Wacks would agree this is a far more worthy cause than the fact that the anti-Christ actually managed to turn up at Lakeside and honour his contract with his British team for once!!!

Would this be the same Lukas Dryml who travelled to the UK by road earlier in the season to ride for Eastbourne at the time of the ash cloud, unlike many others riders who didn't make the same effort? I think you'll find Lukas didn't show the same commitment to Peterborough whilst he was there because they weren't paying him!!! Otherwise he is committed to British Speedway and puts many other riders (such as Kasprzak, whose praises you were singing not long ago) to shame. In the meantime, I support your nomination to Peter Mole. My nomination of Lukas was only to wind you up and I see I succeeded

I would like to nominate the late John Perrin. Without him, Belle Vue would have died after the loss of Hyde Road. He kept the club alive for many years. He may not have been everyone's cup of tea, but thanks to him, the most famous speedway club name of them all is still around.
