Lawson still not fit to return so Ricky Ashworth comes in for him. No confirmed replacement for Tobias Kroner either so it's our old friend Mr R/R for him with only Hougaard and the reserves eligible to take his rides.
It's turning into Groundhog Day at Belle Vue!!!

(And before KevH points it out, yes Lukas was at reserve when he had that slight coming together with Puk at Oxford )

Sadly, knowing Belle Vue it'll be Joe Screen. I'd go for Michael Jepsen Jensen as he looks a tidy rider and a great prospect for the future. It doesn't help we've only got 4.97 to play with as their isn't an abundance of talent floating around on that average. Then you've got the crap track to deal with too, that rules out a new pole as they struggle round BV with only Hampel and Cegielski getting to grips with it. Mroczka did ok on it the other week but he'd had experience of Wolves and Eastie by then.
As for tonight, Kyle Legault is in for Josh Grajczonek as our number 8. If it's on it'll be a miracle as for the last few hours it's absolutely chucked it down.

Meeting was postponed at 4.30pm just as the rain stopped and the clouds were dispersing. James Wright had rung Morton at dinner and told him he was too ill to ride, Cam Woodward was booked in as a guest.
I seriously think it wasn't just the weather that led to this meeting being called off.
