We head off to Istanbul this weekend with the news that the US is once again set to host a GP in 2012 - this time in Texas.
The McLarens led the way in both practise sessions today, with Mercedes hot on their tail, but it's still expected the Red Bulls will be the pace setters, despite suspected engine problems for Mark Webber earlier today.
The race and qualifying start at 1pm on Sunday and Saturday respectively.

I guess Schumi is smirking right now because Alonso has just gone out in Q2 of qualifying

Mark Webber again on pole, but those British Bulldog McLarens are getting faster. And Vettel doesn't like being beaten by his team-mate, does he?

Got everything crossed that the McLarens can beat Webber so we don't have to suffer another weekend of a smug Christian Horner

Vettel's inability to accept that Webber is currently better than him could cost Red Bull at the end of the season. The clash between the two Red Bull drivers was hilarious. ;D
A British 1-2 ;D ;D ;D ;D with Hamilton & Button showing Red Bull how it's done in terms of racing your team-mate. ;D

Very muted on the podium though which is a shame. I actually feel sorry for Webber. Vettel could cost him the title this year.

As with racing incidents in speedway, there are always going to be differences of opinion - even among the so called experts! For my money, Martin Brundle had it spot on at the time. He said that Mark never deviated from his line, Seb came up the inside, and then for some reason seemed to turn right into Mark. Interesting looking at the in car footage though, that Seb doesn't seem to turn the steering wheel to the right, but neither does Mark turn his to the left. All a bit bizarre really! I thought that during the press conference, when Jenson was being interviewed, Mark seemed to be demonstrating to Lewis that they were side by side, and then Seb came across him. Both drivers handled the press well, but I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall in those pits after the race!

What a cock!! I can't believe Horner is blaming Webber. But clearly Golden Boy Vettel can do no wrong, I bet Horner even reckons Vettel's shit is made out of gold. Vettel completely misjudged the move, and ended turning into Webber and claterring them both off, although Webber was, at least, able to rejoin. 100% the fault of the Golden Boy, Webber can't make his car disappear in a puff of smoke to avoid the Golden Boy. It seems that the reason Vettel caught Webber is that Webber was instructed to turn his the engine but Webber wasn't. There's some bull from Horner, but the fact is that they're both driving the same car, so fuel consumption is going to be very similar. The truth is there is a clear No. 1 and No. 2 at Red Bull and Webber is upsetting the applecart by beating the "superior" Vettel. Yesterday Horner obviously tried to "arrange" a win for the Golden Boy, but it backfired. I hope that Webber wins the World Championship this year (well, if it's not Button or Hamilton), then puts two fingers up to Horner and heads off to Ferrari, where a change of driving line-up is needed (I guess Massa would be the unlukcy one to give way).

I was watching the football, but kept flicking over to catch up on the GP, the commentators were saying how Vettel was producing the fastest lap times and how he was much quicker than Webber, then next time i flicked back Vettel was out! Seems to me that Webber was producing a human road block, and Vettel and the Red Bull team wanted and expected him to move the fuck out of the way...

Frenchie, Webber is the better driver at Red Bull, but he's not supposed to beat the Golden Boy. Yesterday, his engine was turned down but Vettel's wasn't, so that the Golden Boy could take the lead. That's the only reason the Golden Boy was suddenly faster than Webber. Unfortunately the Golden Boy fucked up the passing move. Webber had given room to Vettel, but the Golden Boy then drifted off the inside into path of Webber. How much room was Webber supposed to be the Golden Boy for fuck's sake? Maybe Webber should have moved over from Turkey to into nearby Greece The collision was completely the fault of Vettel, anyone with eyes can see that. If Horner tries to pin it on Webber, then Webber should win the championship and then tell Horner to fuck off at the end of the year. Horner needs to wake up and smell the coffee. He does have a driver capable of being World Champion, but it isn't his Golden Boy.
