It appears that Swale Borough Council have granted planning permission for speedway to be introduced at the local greyhound track. The prospective promoter has previously stated that he requires a seven year period to stand any chance of recouping his investment at the stadium. Fingers tightly crossed that professional speedway returns to Kent after many, many years....1987 in fact  |

In fact, you could argue in that aspect it's more professional than EL, where quite often (well any track where Horton promoted) the riders are not paid  |
