Rosco visits his old stomping ground live on tele tonight, so we can expect a bit of fun, at least.
The blurb from the Bees:
COVENTRY are bidding for their first away points of the season as they face a trip to Swindon on Monday.
It will be the first return to Blunsdon for manager Alun Rossiter, who ironically played a big part in the Robins' team-building before his move to Brandon last December.
But Rossiter's full focus is now with the Buildbase Bees, who have won just one of their first nine Elite League fixtures and are clearly considering their options for further team strengthening later this month.
Recent recruit Przemyslaw Pawlicki makes his Coventry debut against the Robins, and the Bees also include Richard Sweetman, a Swindon asset, at reserve.
Rossiter said: "I was really frustrated after watching again our last match at Wolverhampton, and the reason for that is I know we are capable of so much better.
"Obviously it will be a strange feeling for me being in the visiting pits at Swindon, but it's all about our team and what we can do. If we have our gating heads on there's no reason why we can't manage a positive result."
SWINDON: Leigh Adams, Grzegorz Zengota, Morten Risager, Simon Stead, Mads Korneliussen, Justin Sedgmen, Cory Gathercole.
BUILDBASE BEES: Chris Harris, Ben Barker, Edward Kennett, Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Rory Schlein, Richard Sweetman, Filip Sitera.

I think you'll find it's got something to do with health & safety, and medical personnel not being allowed on track until after all the bikes have gone past. All the H&S seems to have been stepped up this year.

There's another example with Mads.....his pit crew were there long before the medics. Surely the same H&S rules apply across the board regarding walking on the track?

I know that an edict went out last year saying that only the team manager and captain were allowed out on the track to see to a fallen rider. That doesn't stop the world and his dog going out there though. I think the difference is, the riders and team personnel are used to it, and will go out there no matter what, whereas medical personnel are probably told that they're not insured if the don't follow the rules! All guesswork on my part of course!

I do understand what you're saying, but to gain any kind of medical qualification you must be relatively sensible, and therefore in my view, able to calculate the risk factor when attending an injured rider!
