I can understand why Vettel is favourite to win the championship this season(clearly the best driver) But why is he so strongly fancied to win in China ? do Red Bull have some big advantage there ?

I would guess because of the suspension system they're using. It's been deemed legal by the FIA, but no-one quite knows what they've done. When McLaren guessed they'd found a way of changing the ride height, they started work on their own system to mimic what they assumed the Red Bull was using. But the FIA have now clarified that implementing it would be illegal, so they've aborted the idea. So basically Red Bull have some unknown advantage over the others, and until they find out exactly how they're doing it (or push the FIA to re-investigate the legality of the Red Bull) the other teams are playing catch up.

Have to say I agree to a point Schumi but the biggest concern will be power and brakes this weekend.
China is perhaps even more dull than Bahrain as a design, it's is all flat chat or 2nd/1st gear. Which means anyone who is using 'old' engines (Ferrari) or potentially 'weak' engines (Renault and Red Bull) may find themselves exposed.
Of course I may get proved wrong but I would expect Vettel on pole, webber just behind him and the Ferraris desperately trying not to get in anyone's slipstream for the first half the race.... as long as it's dry.... I also expect the Mclarens to be splitting the RBs and the Ferraris with die regenmeister and Roberg fighting it out for 7th again.
If the weather stays cool and the rains don't come, expect another Herman Tilke designed bore-othon!!

That was really something, and I think I'd be needing a nappy if i was gonna drive that in the race - unless they're sure they've identified the fault!

Blimey, it's all going off here. A dry-wet-dry-wet race, with Button again proving the master of strategy, whilst Hamilton is proving all sorts of drama - going wheel-to-wheel with Vettel in the pit lane, yes that's right the pit lane, and shunting off Webber whilst on the final corner under safety car condictions, and also passing numerous cars.
Great race so far - even if it is the F1 version of Wacky Races. ;D

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Shocking performance from the Red Bull team, their dithering cost Vettel and Webber time and time again, but as for Button(or whoever calls the shots at McLaren) yet another superbly thought out race.

Interesting to hear Bernie Ecclestone say that if they can't get out of China they'll run the next race there too.
