Not a bad meeting but not a classic. Meeting was rushed through due to the threat of rain which promptly arrived right at the end of heat 15.
A fair few passes but mainly down to rider error. Track was devoid of shale which, I guess, was to be expected given the weather forecasts we had. Pic of the track before the start is here:
twitpic.com/1cliiwAndersen - Good heat 1 win from gate 4. Did nowt after that. Had to turn his front wheel 90 degrees in heat 10 to avoid touching the tapes. Golem Flint then releases the tapes and Hans was buggered from then on in. Got in PK's way in heat 13 too.
Wright - Dreadful from the start in heat 1. Didn't even move and never looked like passing Haines. Very good after that.
Hougaard - Utter shite in his first couple of outings. Looked like he'd never seen the track before, machinery looked slow as anything. Obviously changed something as he was flying in his last 2.
Karlsson - Not gating well at all. Solid effort from the Veteran.
Lawson - Very, very good in heat 2 but didn't do much afterwards.
Lanham - Second best Ace on show after Wrighty. Always on the pace and always a threat.
F Lindgren - Up and Down. Looked unbeatable when out front but very ordinary when behind.
Proctor - Mucked up his first ride ploughing through the tapes but gradually improved. A little too erratic at times.
Klindt - Good solid performance from Klindt and rode a great race to keep PK behind him.
Screen - One which Joe will want to forget. Touched the tapes, shed a chain in another.
Woffinden - Way too over erratic. Gave up in heat 4 when not going anywhere. Went way too fast into bend 3 in heat 13 which caused his fall.
Little Lindgren - Solid from Ludvig. Quite surprised by him considering it was his first outing at the track.
Haines - One decent ride to keep PK behind him but, apart from that, rather forgettable.
