Thanks for that, hadn't seen it - just had me dad glued to the screen for the past 5 minutes, lol.

Word on the BSF is that Kelly passed away earlier today following a relapse.

Was so sad to read that Kelly had passed away, but pleased he was able to find some peace within himself, and had what looked like some very special & touching final weeks with family and friends before he died. A lovely video on YouTube of some candid moments with Kelly and friends back in Feb. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEQwwpRZrxkCya Kelly & RIP

Kelly and his brother Shawn were two of my all-time favourite riders, and i was very saddened to hear of his death. As many of you already know, i have always maintained that the USA is the most naturally gifted speedway nation, and i hope Kelly's death can create some sort of Californian speedway revival.

His passing at a relatively young age is very sad, as he was truly a legendary rider. His appearance in the recent issue of Backtrack was quite shocking to see, and despite the brave face put on, it was clear he didn't have long left.
