BRAIN OF BRETTON?
Are you Peterborough Panthers’ Mastermind?
Or could you be a match for the Eggheads?
Now’s your chance with the Great 2010 Quiz at Ebenezer’s Club, Grove Street, Woodston, Peterborough on Wednesday, February 17 (7.30pm).
Several of the riders will be present showing off their (lack of?) knowledge and we will confirm exactly who is coming next week.
We are looking for teams of up to five people and there will be cash prizes for the winners.
Admission is £1 per person at the door and the entry for a team of five is £10.
The income will be split 50-50 – half being handed back as prize money for the top three teams and the other half going into our
soon-to-be-announced junior development programme.
Compere Steve Miles has compiled and will be asking the questions and we will have two independent adjudicators – Kerri Drew and Sarah Miles –marking all the papers.
The quiz will be split into five different categories – music, general knowledge, celebrity pictures, speedway pictures and speedway knowledge and there could possibly be a bonus round based on video action.
Even if you can’t get a team together beforehand, don’t worry, we will put individuals together to make up a side on the night.
So start your research now – and see you all next Wednesday.
PS: For those who don’t know Bretton is a district in Peterborough!
