How sad that he won't get to see Tai ride in his first GP. RIP Rob Woffinden. Munners, I think they realised that would be the case. If you read the extensive Rob Woffinden interview in the Star from the back end of last year, his aim was to spend one last Christmas with his family.

Yeah, I read that Genghis, and I'm truly glad for all the family that he got to do that, but I still think it's sad that he didn't get to see his son ride at the very highest level. Rob has clearly been such an inspiration to Tai throughout his career so far, and I'm sure it will be a very poignant moment for Tai when he takes his place in the first GP line up. RIP Rob

Let'sall hope that Tai uses the time bettween next weeks funeral & the start of the season to come to terms with the greif he must be feeling a million times more than any of us can imagine. Rob was an amazing influence on the boy, more like a brother than a father. What he has done in the time since he talk ill is an inspiration to us all. Good luck to Tai in the future, sincere condolences go to Sue & the rest of the family, the family of speedway is with you all.
R.I.P Rob. Truly a great man.
