7. Harris may look a World Beater in Wiltshire, when he only has Adams to beat, but when the 'big boys' turn up, it's sadly business as usual. 8. Woffinden is the most over-rated rider in the history of speedway. And both scored more than the nutcase.

Nicki seems unbeatable judging from the commentary. He's certainly on fire so far this season. And I see the mad Russian has picked out Bjarne Pedersen as his latest victim. Nope, I was at the meeting and the mad Russian was innocent. Bjarne Pedersen did a dying swan act to get Emil excluded. After a rather excellent siwtch of lines by Emil as well. Emil's gating was appalling tonight. After that, he looked pretty quick and was in the thick of the action. Nicki P was a class above the rest of the field, though. Schumi, I'm not doing a Crumpie v Nicki GP bet with you this year - although I'll still do a Hamilton v German cheating bastard if you're interested

He's certainly on fire so far this season. And I see the mad Russian has picked out Bjarne Pedersen as his latest victim. So what did we learn today ?...........Well....... 1. Celebrating the memory of previous greats, is a winning idea 2. Speedway needs more 'open meetings' and less of the boring, tiresome team crap. 3. 7/2 on Nicki P for the World Championship looks an outstanding bet. 4. 7/2 on Emil S, doesn't look quite so good. 5. 11/4 on Jason C, looks a shocker 6. Swindon will really struggle this season. 7. Harris may look a World Beater in Wiltshire, when he only has Adams to beat, but when the 'big boys' turn up, it's sadly business as usual. 8. Woffinden is the most over-rated rider in the history of speedway. 9. The modern way of semi finals and final, is unfair and produces false results. Kasprzak was clearly the afternoon/evenings 2nd best rider, and his non-appearance on the rostrum, makes a mockery of the event. Speedway really needs to ditch this worthless trend and revert to the previous, well tried, tested and popular format. Thank you.......................... Oh, i should have added..... 10.. THJ, gave the Swindon public a glimpse of what he's all about, when he threw in a last race sickie...

Tiresome team crap every time for me and asking for a return to a winner at the end of 5 races system is like calling for the football play-offs to be scrapped, it ain't going to happen. In these type of meetings (not GPs) who's to say that riders don't pace themselves anyway knowing that nothing (apart from gate position perhaps) is won over 5 races? Like everyone on here Riggers, you're entitled to your opinion, however we do have to factor into the equasion, the fact that you choose(and pay) to watch Peterborough United Football team... That is true to some extent although believe me I'm not a stupid as I look As for thick or wind up, then stick with this and it'll get you in the end after a few pages ;D www.hof.org.uk/showthread.php?t=2403&page=1

THJ, gave the Swindon public a glimpse of what he's all about, when he threw in a last race sickie... 1. Agreed 2. The backbone of the sport in this country is league racing, but the odd big open individual is much welcome. 3. He is currently looking unstoppable. 4. Hmmmm, give him a little time, he definitely looked very rusty yesterday especially out of the gate. 5. I think Crumpie is currently just getting meetings in following that nasty injury, as soon as Nicki goes anywhere near him, he backs off. I expect things to be different come the GP series. 6. Agreed 7. Harris needs to learn how to bloody well gate 8. That's harsh, the lad is really struggling at the moment followinf the death of his father. I hope things get better for him. 9. It's 2010 not 1963 10. Stead did propel him into the fence with a huge thud.
