If it wasn't for the fact that i have the best avatar on the forum, i would now be changing mine to a Coventry one. I guess Rosco realized, if he wants to be an England international manager, he'd be better off at a club that has an England International to manage.
Go Bees, and Rosco for Team England manager.

Oh well, that's Coventry to win nothing in 2010, and Swindon to finally win that long overdue league title.

I have never been a big fan of his, but I reckon Rosco's grown up a bit in the last couple of seasons, he seems a bit less likely to 'spit the dummy out' than he used to be. It would seem that the Bees promotion are lining him up for a much more major role than just team manager in the long term. Let's face it Colin Pratt is approaching seventy years of age and he won't neccessarily want to continue in his role for many more years, it makes sense in my opinion to bring a younger enthusiastic member into the organisation if the promotion is to move forward successfully. So from this Bees fan at least, good luck to him.

Beeone, you must have missed watching the play-off final second leg, when Rosco not only threw all out the toys out of the pram, but proceeded to let down the tyres of the pram and then set it alight. Around about Heat 13 I believe it was.

No I didn't miss that, but in previous seasons he has been guilty of doing it on a much more regular basis, I didn't say he was cured of this affliction, just that these outbursts were less likely these days. I will repeat more or less what I have posted elsewhere, that I think that managing a team to which he has less emotional connection (as he had been mascot, rider and manager for Swindon, also his home town club), may further temper these outbursts. That said, I wouldn't want to calm him down completely, he can be quite entertaining at times. ;D
