Wow !! How on earth did you find that?  That would be great if it happens.....only 40 miles from me. Further than Rye House, but closer than Peterboroguh, and would be great to have another venue to go to !  I think most speedway fans in and around London would welcome the return of Walthamstow......naturally, there's a long way to go yet, but this does seem quite positive. I know many ex Hackney fans would never support Wimbledon and vice versa, but given the time Walthamstow have been out of the sport, I would imagine any bias would be long forgotten and I'd hope that fans from all over the capital (and living within a 40 mile radius of it  ) would support the venture if it does get off the ground. It could even turn out to be the perfect place to re-locate The Hammers if/when The Thames Gateway Project comes to fruition!!! |
