Well I think most of us were under the impression that the boy wonder was Horror bound, well apparently not, if Mr Clean is to be believed: Robins lead race for Ward - Adams
Ward is being chased by a host of clubs for the 2010 season Swindon skipper Leigh Adams claims one of speedway's hottest prospects, Darcy Ward, wants to ride for them next year.
The 17-year-old is being tracked by several clubs and fellow Australian Adams says a move to the Abbey Stadium is his preferred choice.
"Its certainly on top of his list, it's a great club and the Manchester United of speedway," he told BBC Wiltshire. In your dreams Mr Clean
"The management put together a good show, the track is always good, we've got great support."
He added: "I spoke to him and he's not really sure which way he's going. We'll just see what happens."
Ward is the current World champion at under-21 level and would come in on a low points average making him a highly desirable prospect for any club.
In the 2009 season he rode for King's Lynn Stars and also competed in Germany and Poland.
taken from BBC website news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport...way/8329679.stm All this speculation of a boy still wet behind the ears, and he's got a lot to learn I fear, however Adams hopefully will help with that, should he end up with the nearly men

Leigh is supposed to be mentoring Darcy, so I guess it's possible.
