So with Hatcham having come prematurely to the conclusion that West Ham management are deserving of the FOTW award, it's time to start again.
Young Badger, would you like to pick the winner? The winner is due to be picked on Saturday, October 24 - although you can pick a week earlier on Saturday, October 17 if you so wish.

I would like to nominate Damian Dryml. He's been a good boy recently. I would like to nominate a section of the King's Lynn fans on the BSF, who are becoming increasingly insufferable.

Had to point out that, whilst I can't see (without being cocky) Birmingham getting through after after winning up at theirs, we've by no means won the Play Off Final yet. That and the KOC Final will both be challenges that Lynn are not guaranteed to win, especially without Tomas (whilst he is still a consistent rider, he's also a damn good captain). But yeah, on the BSF they were trying to work out when we'd be meeting Belle Vue... I'd nominate a concrete path for breaking my phone as FOTW.. but since its an inanimate object and I threw my phone at it, I cant really nominate it.

Rhidassa, and even more annoying were the comments that King's Lynn could send their NL team to Scunthorpe tonight and still get through to the cup final. Such arrogance. A successful team always brings out the worst in its supporters, and Lynn are currently no exception. What's the betting it's this kind of supporter who will disappear the moment the Stars have a mediocre season?

Can't believe to be honest people believed it, since it would be a nonsensical thing. It reflects badly on Rob - whilst he knows his team can do it he doesn't take it forgranted, and such an idea would never occur to him I'm sure. I used a bit of restraint to stop from replying it and pointing out how stupid a comment it was. Perhaps I just lack a sense of humour. Sadly I agree. Though I wouldn't mind having a mediocre season, just to get rid of the pain in the asses for a bit.

Rhidassa, I'm imagine that the geniune "thick and thin" supporters at the Norfolk Arena such as yourself would also quite enjoy a season where the home matches end 46-44 instead of 65-25.

The 'thick and thin' was more to prove a point. I would by far.. Tuesday night I was so bored, I couldn't even get excited by the fact we'd have a huge lead to take away with us. I was regretting having made the effort to go.. *sigh* Some meetings have been better than it seems though - Birminghams last visit was by far the best meeting of the season, up to the interval you weren't sure if Birmingham would actually be capable of beating us. One of the first meetings at KL I've really enjoyed thoroughly this year.. such a refreshing change, it were!

I'll be totally honest and for about 10 seconds I actually thought that post could be true, then realised it couldn't be cos there were no spelling mistakes . Oh dear I'm about to go into Genghis' bad books . You call it arrogance Genghis, for those of us who have been thro the mire and all manner of humiliations with Lynn teams of old (and some not so old) who were regularly thrased at home by 50 points, it was amusing. Yes I know I'm twisted but those experiences had to be endured with a sense of humour and I'm sorry but I find humour sadly lacking in many on the BSF nowadays. What made it even funnier in my eyes was that it fooled the great Paulco ;D. Lynn, it's promotion and it's fans have endured all sorts of abuse/snide comments etc in the last 2 or 3 years of being successful but I haven't seen many having a go at people making those comments. One instance in particular. I accept that Edinburgh fans have a right, if you want to call it that, to make comments about heart problems but I'm bloody certain that Birmingham and Redcar fans weren't there ( I was) but they still jump on the bandwagon. They have no idea what happened they are simply repeating chinese whispers. As I said to ML the day after it happened, there is only one person who actually knows what happened and why the rest of the world can only speculate. Life is taken far too seriously nowadays and IMHO some people should lighten up a lot, speedway is supposed to be a sport or at the very least entertainment, it's not war, it's not life threatening and there are far more serious things to get het up about. Lordy I feel much better for that ;D ;D ;D

If there's one thing worse than a bad loser, it's a bad winner. The post was arrogant, derogatory towards Scunthorpe and also falsely quoted Rob Lyon, therefore showing him in a bad light. Screamer is a twat - and the sooner that Lynn have a mediocre season and he/she decides to find to something else with their pocket money, the better.

I accept all you say, but reserve the right to disagree . At the end of the day it's all about opinions and conceptions. I didn't think the post was that derogatory to Scunthope - they had one shit night at the office, their own fans acknowledged that, and Screamer took the piss a bit based on that one performance. Had he said that Scunny were a complete joke all season it would have been very different and it made a change from reading how Lynn have manouvered this, that and even the other to their advantage and Lynn had built too strong a team etc. I'm amazed that the Chapmans haven't been blamed for implementing the Golden Heats used last night ;D (yes I know they along with everyone else must have agreed to it ) I'm nothing if not honest and I literally laughed out loud when I saw Paulco had been taken in, probably because he is someone along with your goodself and most Wierdies that I have the utmost respect for ( he is a Monarch baiter after all ;D). Do you think I should seek treatment for my warped sense of humour?

I accept all you say, but reserve the right to disagree . At the end of the day it's all about opinions and conceptions. Spot on. Which means I'm entitled to my opinion that a few Lynn fans, most notably Screamer, have been acting like arrogant twats the last few weeks. Do you think I should seek treatment for my warped sense of humour? Yep, you should be locked into a darkened room and made to watch highlights of King's Lynn's 1985 to 1990 seasons, until you relent and confess your sins.
