COVENTRY Speedway can confirm a home fixture has been arranged against Peterborough for next Friday, September 4.
This will be the first match in the new Midland League, which also involves Wolverhampton, and will see each team racing each other home and away in a mini-league.
The return fixture against the Panthers will take place at the Showground on Thursday, October 1.
The next meeting at Brandon is the final home Elite League fixture of the regular season, against Eastbourne on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31 (8pm).

Friday September 4 - Coventry v Peterborough
Thursday September 10 - Coventry v Wolverhampton
Monday September 14 - Wolverhampton v Coventry
