Well it's going to be a cheap Christmas for Sube, since Schumi's already got her present. Not sure why this wasn't announced a week ago (Schumi, I'll be nice to Schumacher on here, but avoid reading the BSF thread )

(Schumi, I'll be nice to Schumacher on here, but avoid reading the BSF thread ) Interesting !, also interesting is you're, no one can stop Button in 2009 sig ! I notice there is no mention of 2010, where Button is widely available at 7/1, whereas Schumacher is as low as 5/1 in his role as the current 3rd favourite. Hatcham, I've yet to decide on 2010. The most likely World Champion is either Hamilton or Alonso, with the mighty Button, Vettel and the German cobbler as the next favourites.

Sounds to me like you've looked at the current odds and decided to toe the party line Genghis, why on earth would you, a big of Button, suggest he would finish behind Hamilton ? not to mention Alonso ! Hatcham, I am a fan of Hamlton, the mighty Button or any British F1 driver. Button is a much underrated driver, but 2010 will be tough. The whole McLaren team revolves around Lewis Hamilton. To go straight into that team and outperform Hamilton is going to be tough. It's not impossible, after all Senna did just that at the same team in 1988, when he went into McLaren and kicked Prost's arse. What might help Button are the new rules. With the hateful refuelling finally abolished, Button's smoother driving style may see him "outlast" Hamilton in races. It's all set up for a very interesting season. The return of the German cobbler adds yet another dimension. It will be interesting to see how Schumacher copes without refuelling. 89 oh his 91 wins came in the refuelling era. Montoya used to point out with glee with number of times Schumacher had actually passed him on the racetrack (it was zero), whereas Montoya had passed Schumacher 6 or 7 times. It's because, under the guidance of the wily Brawn, Schumacher used to do 90% of his "passing" in the pits. It will be interesting to see Schumacher deals with not having this option.

Well I predict at least one Schumacher race win, and a complete collapse for Lewis Hamilton. Already having to compete against the man who took his title, he's now up against the all time greatest driver - and Hamilton falters under pressure. Having listened to his interview, Schumacher seems pretty fired up and confident. If the car is up to standard, he will deliver.

Here's another prediction: Alonso will throw at least two wobblers when he realises he can't have it all his own way at Ferrari.

Erm, so passing a driver on the final bend on the final lap of the championship is not being good under pressure??? Schumacher, the third all-time greatest driver (behind Senna and Fangio), has a rather crap record in last race decivers: 1994: Cracked under pressure and hit a wall, only won the championship because he shunted Hill off. 1997: Hit Villeneuve on purpose, ended up in the gravel and was disqualified from the championship for cheating. 1998: Stalled on the startline and failed to finish. 2003: Nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, struggling home in a poor eighth. 2006: Finished only fourth, whilst Massa won in the same car. Alonso finished second and took the championship. So Schumacher ended up as champion in just two out of five last race shoot-outs and both of those were by default.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Alonso as 2010 World Champion, but there will be a few toys thrown out of the pram in the process.

Genghis, you can try that bollocks if Schumacher ever falls off the track in the pit lane. Seven championships versus one - as the man himself says, we'll see in March.

But none of those championships were gained over Hamilton, at the moment their own personal battle is 0-0. Hamilton is gonna kick Schumacher's sorry arse. ;D That's what we'll see in March. ;D

Good grief www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5805701,00.html The funniest part is where Ralf says he turned down a team because they aren't up to his standard. ;D He really is delusional. ;D ;D
