A little off topic, but Dawid has been released from his Danish club, Holsted, with immediate effect.

Holsted's favoured team usually includes Nicki P (A grade), Klindt (B), Hougaard (B), Nielsen/Moller (C) and Bjerregaard. Each category takes up a certain amount of points from their limit, and they can only build to 25 points. With each A grader taking up 8, and B riders using 6, it makes more sense for them to only use two B riders at a time, even though they can use three, along with their number one. And with Klindt and Hougaard doing a decent job, there was no need for them to use Stachyra, but him being "unattached" means he can now guest for other clubs (as he did for Fjelsted last night, scoring 13+1.)

To be fair to Dawid, things conspired against him last week, his mechanic was on holiday(inconsiderate I know ) and I understand he didn't have his usual engines. I have my fingers crossed he gets his form back this week, Morten will be too quick for both he and Carl I suspect, but those 2 both need to keep a decent amount of space between them and Hurry

As expected the Robins were too strong for our 41/2 man team.
Courtesy of updates:
IPSWICH WITCHES = 42
1. Scott Nicholls - 2,3,3,2,3 = 13 2. R/R 3. Troy Batchelor - 2*,0,2,1 = 5+1 4. Danny King - 3,3,1*,1 = 8+1 5. Robert Miskowiak - 2,3,2,2,0,1 = 10 6. Dawid Stachyra - 1*,1,1,0,1*,EX = 4+2 7. Carl Wilkinson - EX,1*,1,0,0 = 2+1
SWINDON ROBINS = 48
1. Leigh Adams - 3,1*,3,1,0 = 8+1 2. Ryan Fisher - EX,2,3,0 = 5 3. Simon Stead - 0,2,1*,3 = 6+1 4. Travis Mcgowan - 1,F,2,3 = 6 5. Matej Zagar - 3,2,3,3 = 11 6. Paul Hurry - 2*,0,0 = 2+1 7. Morten Risager - 3,0,1,2*,2*2 = 10+2
Quite a lot of bad feeling in this meeting, and with Troy having probably his worst meeting for the Witches TBH, Adams also probably had his worst meeting at Foxhall, but the trump card was Risager at reserve.
One or two dodgy refs decisions, and one or two walking wounded, no serious injuries just knocks etc...they are a tough breed these speedway riders.

Quite a lot of bad feeling in this meeting, How do you mean? What happened? It seemed on the Updates as though both sides were really getting stuck in to each other. I feared a big crash, and one happened it seemed. Is that what you mean, Badge, or was there other stuff going on too?

No mainly niggly things really, Leigh was miffed as our machine examiner made the whole team drop their dirt deflectors, as per regs, then he and Scott had words after heat 1, Wilko had words after being put under the air fence by mental Hurry, just little things like that really. A decent meeting won by the right team, I know you can't play "if only speedway", however I feel sure we would have won this with Tobi, as both of our reserves were ummmmm poor and had to take the majority of Tobi's rides. Leigh was beatable, not something that normally happens at Foxhall, and as I said Morten was the meeting winner TBH.
