Another must-win meeting for the Hammers, who are vying for the final play-off places along with Coventry and Peterborough. Both Hammers and Bees are tied on points, with the Panthers just one behind, so the outcome of this meeting is vital for all three teams.
Lakeside line up as follows:
1..Lee Richardson 2..Joonas Kylmakorpi 3..Kauko Nieminen 4..Jonas Davidsson 5..Piotr Swiderski 6..William Lawson (G) 7..Stuart Robson

Think it's just that Coventry have a meeting tonight, and their race night takes priority over Lakeside's. Pretty sure it's been on Saturday before, when Lakeside have met Coventry.

Updates are reporting Richardson is off to hospital after heat 1. Hope he's okay.

And the result was a 45 all draw. Not good for the Hammers, but with Rico out, it was to be expected.

Lee has suffered only bruising, according to sportowefakty, and should be back for the Hammers' next meeting.

Rumours at Arlington that the Arena Essex stadium has been sold for development and the Hammers are moving to Arlington next year. Any truth in this ?

I certainly hope not!!!
We've all been aware of the impending closure of Arena Essex owing to the Thames Gateway Project for some time, and I'm confident that Stanley will have his finger on the pulse regarding the latest developments.
Under the new regime, Hammers have built up their fan base considerably......and it's my guess that a move to Sussex would alienate 95% of the supporters.
If any move of this ilk is forced on Lakeside, I would think that Sittingbourne would be a far better bet assuming the extended planning persmission is obtained.

95% I would have thought that more than 5% of Hammers fans already attend Arlington.
