You won't be seeing Michael at Valencia, but you will see Alonso, a future Ferrari hero. It would seem that Alonso is almost a certainty at Ferrari in 2010, with King Kimi on his way to receiving a big pay off so that he fucks off.

Schumi, there's a consolation for you. No consoling me, I'm afraid. F1 has been really depressing for me lately.

Schumi, there's a consolation for you. No consoling me, I'm afraid. F1 has been really depressing for me lately. It'll get better. Ferrari are paying off Kimi, which means Massa must be OK for next year. And Schumacher might still pop up at some stage - he's only completely ruled out of Valencia.

Nah, my driver has retired, my team has gone to pot, and I can't bring myself to support any of the current bunch - they're so bland. I've even started nodding off during races lately - although that could well be age related.

Well, Ferrari might as well have stuck one of their mechanics in Massa's car, as Badoer was more than 3 seconds off the pace in today's practise session, and finished bottom of the pile. Meanwhile, Alonso topped the time sheets, giving the fans something to cheer about on the dullest circuit on the calendar.
And in other news, Vettel has signed an extension to his contract with Red Bull, tying him to the team until 2011 - bad news for Ferrari, McLaren, Toyota and Brawn, who all made him offers.

You couldn't make it up - Badoer so slow on his laps he's at the bottom of the time sheets has been done for speeding in the pit lane FOUR times this weekend already.

Lewis Hamilton secures pole ahead of his team-mate, Kovalainen. Following behind are: Barrichello, Vettel, Button, Raikkonen, Rosberg, Alonso, Webber and Kubica. Badoer had a dismal qualifier and finished a second and a half behind 19th placed Jaime Alguersuari - Ferrari must get someone else in that car. That's what I like to see - the mighty team taking their rightful place at the front of the grid and well ahead of the Italian kings of comedy.

Badoer really fitting in with the Italian kings of comedy - looks like he is showing real comic genius on the streets of Valencia.

Should change his name to Luca Crapoer - Bad is really not sufficient. Where on earth did the Italian kings of comedy find him? I think he'd struggle to do a three point turn.

No comment on the momentual cock-up today by the Woking Kings Of Comedy Hard luck to Lewis Hamilton, but well done to Rubens. Today was one of those days when he got it all right.

I've come to the conclusion that in order to spice things up a bit for next year, they need to raise the bridge a few inches and make the cars jump it. Valencia is truly the worst circuit for racing I've ever seen.
