Better news this morning that Felipe has now spoken to his family - he was previously only able to communicate by moving. Doctors are confident he is on the road to recovery, but the extent of the eye damage won't be known for about a week.

To be honest, much as I'd love to see a return, I'd prefer if he didn't. He had a bike accident in February where he hurt his neck, he's not had any time driving the Ferrari, and, to be honest, it's bloody awful. Michael is remembered for what he did with the team, and his own achievements - I'd rather keep it that way. Mind you, Nelson Piquet Jr could be out of a drive after he launched an attack on his boss, saying Flavio "doesn't understand shit about F1. He's my manager, but in his role of team boss he doesn't respect me." Hmm, wonder why. Full story here: www.planet-f1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5457601,00.html
