Belle Vue did the hard work by winning the first leg at Wimbore Rd (not a typo) 49-44 but looked doomed to lose the 2nd leg which has seen Poole strengthen up in the period between the 2 meetings.
Belle Vue, already without the absent Billy Forsberg, have also lost captain Charlie Gjedde for the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury. The Aces will use the rider replacement rule for Gjedde and Kevin Doolan comes in to guest for Forsberg. Gjedde rode at 5 and if R/R is used in that position it would mean all R/R rides will be against either Andersen, Holder and Pedersen.
If, and it's a big if, Morton uses his nugget he'll stick the R/R at either 2 or 4. PatricK Hougaard, James Wright and the Reserves can take Gjedde's rides. If I were the manager the team would like this:
1. Kasprzak 2. R/R 3. Wright 4. Risager 5. Hougaard 6. Doolan 7. Ostergaard.
