Wonder why no Stachyra? - apparently Dawid is riding in a Pairs meeting in Poland, so Simon Lambert guests, and obviously no Bridger, so Kylmakorpi guesting for Eastie

Think you'll find Bridger is banned for this one & the home fixture on sat v Lakeside. Yes: This is from Lewis's official website Wednesday 22nd July '09: Due to his non-appearance for the Eastbourne Eagles at Belle Vue on Monday and subsequent appearance for Czestochowa in Poland, the BSPA have imposed a two match ban and substantial fine on Lewis with immediate effect. Lewis, and all at Team LBR, would like to offer their sincere apologies to his Eagles team-mates, the promotion at Eastbourne Speedway, his sponsors and, most importantly, the paying public who we have let down. Lewis's Dad and Grandad, Steve and Tony, are bitterly disappointed at the naive way Lewis was persuaded to race in Poland and are determined that steps are taken to prevent such things happening in future.

Just to add to badge's post, this is from the BSPA:
EASTBOURNE star Lewis Bridger has been hit with a two-match ban, substantial club fine and a suspension from competing abroad.
The sanctions have been imposed after Bridger failed to show for the Eagles' match at Belle Vue on Monday and rode in Poland that evening.
Eagles promoter Bob Dugard said: "They were offering large guarantees just for riders to turn up, but I'm bitterly disappointed he did this to me."
Wonder how long the suspension is for.

Well 3 times we have had Eastie to Foxhall, one obviously was a rain off, and 3 times Mr Dribble has been 1st rider to arrive, he is most defintiely a changed man , shame he still can't get to grips with the track, and a few handbags with Scott due to the fact that Scott passed him down the back straight and about half a minute later Ludicrous realised he had been overtaken and wobbled into the fence, so squared up to Scott in the pits, but all was handshakes etc fairly soon afterwards. Most of us were a tad bemused with his behaviour as Scott passed him cleanly and nowhere near him really so must have just been heat of the moment stuff. Anyway, torrential rain very nearly put paid to this meeting again, but a delayed start and fine work by the track staff and many other hands got the water off the track and allowed the meeting to go ahead, and nip and tuck it was to begin with, but the Witches started pulling away in heat 6, and 2 disastrous black and white heats put paid to any come back by the Eagles. Oh and Robert Miskowiak chose to ride for the Witches over his Polish pairs team tonight. Not your typical Pole is he ;D

(not to mention the track staff, thought the worst coming from work through flooded roads only to find the gates un-opened at 7pm, but after a few heats track seem to ride ok as long as the riders attacked it)
