Once again the demands of Sky Sports see Berwick fixtures being changed to suit the couch potatoes. This time it's Berwick's traditional visit to the heartland of Barbaria on August Bank Holiday Monday that's been changed. According to the Sky Sports website, the barbaric Comets will be visiting the land of sludge and smog on August Bank Holiday Monday for a televised fixture against the Redcar Bears: www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12972,00.html Still, means the couch potatoes get another chance to laugh at Joke Branney.

P.S. John Branney scored 9 points tonight. From seven rides. What's he averaging this season?

P.S. John Branney scored 9 points tonight. From seven rides. What's he averaging this season? Does it matter? The fact is he is still contributing and helping the Comets win matches - like tonight. But I realise you don't like 100% triers like John Branney - you prefer gating tarts such as Rempala *. * who is no longer the Weirdity. That title now rests with William Lawson.

I've told you before, I'm the sole arbiter of weirdness in speedway, subject to the approval of the sexy thumb.
