Not sure why i bothered making the trip last night, i thought weather would ruin it, so i didnt bother, than i thought stuff it, ill pay a visit to Cowley havent been all season, so made a change.
As it turns out, Oxfords promotion did a great job of getting the meeting to run, and run to the end.
I do feel pretty sorry for the Cheetahs or Silver Machine (Or whatever the name is now). With Ales away tho, things seemed to be picking up, then Jesper buggered off, and now rumours surrond Pepe who could end up clearing off as well.
Obviously when they beat Belle Vue they were up for it, but last night, just didnt look right. All 7 tried tho, and it was good to see Oxo actually have 7 on the track.
I've just woken up with a hangover btw, so this post is probably stupid and makes no sense, ill try to write in English when my head stops thumping.
Congrats to Shane Parker btw, what an amazing job he did, especially for a rider who is normally first to complain when its wet

Was it dekker who famously wrote that being the Messiah means he can walk on water, but it obviously doesn't extend to riding on it? Parker's actually an interesting character and a rider who has got better and better with the passing years. I always thought he was distinctly ordinary when he first came over with Ipswich in the late 80s. But now a much slimmer Parker is riding better than ever.
