BELLE Vue skipper Charlie Gjedde will be fit for Monday's home Elite League match against Coventry (7 30) after damaging a knee in a heavy fall on Saturday.
The Dane ignored the injury to score 12 points as the Aces pulled off a brilliant 49-41 win at Eastbourne.
Boss Chris Morton said: "It was a great team effort and I was proud of them. Now we need a repeat against Coventry."

First visit of the season to Kirky Lane for those pesky Bees and their Co-Manager, Sub's Favourite Pansy Voiced Peter Oakes, who hates Belle Vue with a passion.
Coventry boast Nicholls, Harris and Schlein who all ride BV very well. Kennett can be hit and miss round there so I guess a lot depends on him. Belle Vue should be riding high after their win at Eastie but nobody is thoroughly confident of Kasprzak turning in a No.1 performance at home.
Overall we have the stronger side as Coventry's bottom three are, to be fair, hopeless. Wells and Sitera I don't think have ridden the place before, Wells for definite. Auty has done a fair few laps round BV but it's a different kettle of fish racing against juniors.
Belle Vue to take all 3 points on offer.

Looks like Belle Vue fans are losing patience with Gjedde tonight.

And I was there. A humdrum meeting, for the most part, although Hts 13 and 14 were certainly the best I've seen at Kirkmanshulme Lane. Generally, the Aces were awful. So awful that Coventry hardly needed to extend themselves to win. The haplessness of some Belle Vue riders defied comprehension. Charlie Gjedde took ineptitude to a whole new level. Only Kasprzak offered any real challenge.
