The 'bye' comment was aimed soley and squarely at John Phelan. He was one of the most outspoken ones when I originally aired my concerns about Oxford in early 2006 and in fact, got quite nasty. Sadly, my worst fears have proven to be true, and just recently he's been saying much the same as I did originally........which in my book is hypocrasy of the highest order. Rather than adopt the childish retort of 'I told you so', I just wanted to make him aware that 'his' opinions on Oxford Speedway, and speedway in general don't interest me in the slightest, and if he carries out his threat to not attend another speedway meeting until the sport returns to the city......he won't be missed. Kev - fair enough. Of course, there was a time in 2006 when we weren't getting on that well. My own opinion is had Aaron Lanney bumped into Allen Trump in September 2006, rather than Lord Flapperjack, then Oxford Speedway wouldn't be in that bad a position today. I didn't mind Aaron - he came in very inexperienced, but was a good guy. He needed help from the right man - and unfortunately chose the wrong one. I could be wrong, of course - just as you are about Lukas Dryml. ;D Personally, I will be attending SOME speedway this year, probably not nearing as much as usual - but probably around 30-40 meetings.

As you possibly know , my opinion of that differs to yours.....I'll tell you about it some day if you want? ;D
