BELLE Vue have again booked 17-year-old Aussie whizzkid Darcy Ward to cover for their middle-order injuries.
Ward will make his first appearance at Kirkmanshulme Lane in Monday's clash with Lakeside after scoring paid-11 at Coventry on Friday.
Manager Chris Morton said: "It was his first time at Coventry but he handled the meeting very confidently and I have no problem about putting him in again on Monday."

Laugh My Freakin Arse Off at the suggestions on the Aces forum saying 'Sign him permanently'. Like we've got any chance of that whatsoever, FFS if we couldn't get Joe Haines, or Ben Taylor come to that, to put pen to paper what chance do we have with Darcy.
Aces:
1. Kasprzak 2. Ostergaard R/R 3. Ward 4. Wright 5. Gjedde 6. Risager 7. Parsons (Presumably)

Surely you'll have Hougaard? He's certainly riding in Sweden on Tuesday.

Reading between the lines of Young Stanley's press release on the website by the side of the lake, I suspect he is becoming a little frustrated that the Hammers aren't picking up the points you'd expect them to!
There's no doubt pride is at stake here too following Cookie's comments live on Sky a few weeks ago, and I hope they don't come back to bite his arse!
I believe this meeting hinges on which Krzysztof Kasprzak and Lee Richardson turn up, and sadly for Lakeside the awesome KK has been on display of late.

I see youngstanley's used a Subedeiism - "young Ward". But which KK are you watching? This was his Swedish score last week: 1..K Kasprzak..1',0,2,0

That was a one-off. KK is under criticism from all quarters this year, and Gjedde has just been given his marching orders from his Swedish club. If all of the Lakesiders perform tomorrow, they could easily take the points. And Nemo should be full of confidence having just made it through the GP qualifiers.

From the BSPA:
BELLE Vue boss Chris Morton has sung the praises of skipper Charlie Gjedde after his recent revival.
The Danish international had been suffering from a worrying run of scores during a sticky spell for the team – but he’s worked hard on his machinery to put it right.
Said Morton: “Gjedde looks to be coming back into form and he deserves it with all the work he has been putting in.”

I can only see another defeat for Lakeside, unfortunately. Then the Lakeside management might stop talking and actually do something about by sorting out their team before they become the laughing stock of the Elite League.

I'm reliably informed the Old Mongol is at KL tonight - if you see him wandering around, say hello, but for goodness sake, keep him away from DropACog.
