Well, not long until Friday, but will it be the riders of Coventry and speedway's Grand Old Lady racing around the Brandon circuit on Friday or a paving train? And if it is the riders, what will the Coventry team be? It's getting a bit late for a re-declared line-up, so the Bees may have to field their pre-attempted re-declare line up, which would mean guests and rider replacement. Or will they carry on regardless and risk having all the points scored by their riders removed, which would gift the Aces all 4 points. Do I hear www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKLvKZ6nIiA playing? And do I see Messrs Sandhu, pansy-voiced Oakes and Trump lining up to face CVS, Harkess, Machin and Toogood on the streets of Rugby (poor old Pratt Colin, a foot in both camps)? And now, apparently, in the background we have an insane tractor-driving lunatic from Sussex revving his tractor engine ready for battle. Should be an interesting few days.

I fear there will be more spectators in the pits for this one as Belle Vue are without Hougaard, Forsberg, Ostergaard and Grajczonek.
Coventry are without Wells (which is no great loss) and both Schlein and Sitera will ride even though they have international meetings the next day. Schlein, I'm led to believe, will be on borrowed equipment.
Coventry will still win with ease but it's the fans who lose out on this one.

So, a maximum for the global superstar, just to prove how far the Elite League has sunk in recent times.
