SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter has issued a personal apology to referee Chris Gay. Rossiter blamed the official on TV for causing a crash between Troy Batchelor and David Norris in Monday's defeat at Eastbourne by putting on the red stoppage lights on the second turn. Said Rossiter: "I was wrong, Chris stopped it earlier. We need better red lights at tracks in my opinion." www.british-speedway.co.uk/news.php?extend.3417
