Why isn't this section called "Arena-Essex-Lakeside", as this is the proper name for the club ;D ;D ;D ;D All the best Rob

Possibly because the correct name is ' The Lakeside Hammers at Arena Essex', or are you just getting humpy about Kev's post on the Oxford thread? ;D

Fuck what it says on the BSPA site, we all know they couldn't run a piss up in a brewery, why should they be able to run a website?!

Too right! The BSPA website is an absolute disgrace as far as I'm concerned.
Is there anything worth visiting that site for?
The things I might be looking for out of the main british speedway site are :
1. Fixtures and start times of matches. OK, they have fixtures, but I have to select the "results" menu option to find them....WTF??? No offer of what time the matches start, though. 2. Information on track locations. Nope. None of that on there. Track info just links you to team sites which are generally a jumbled mess of information. 3. Score Updates. Nope. None of that. 4. Comprehensive results. By that I mean race results and scorers, so....Nope. None of that. 5. Information about riders. Nope. None of that. 6. Statistics. In fairness, they have improved the averages section this season to provide slightly more information, but they still fall way below what I would like.

Have you had a look at Star Lady's rough guide for some of the track locations, and the links section for rider information? What sort of thing are you after, specifically, on that score (and statistics) because we might be able to help in a new section. Always open to suggestions as to what members would like to see on here that are interesting and informative.

Have you had a look at Star Lady's rough guide for some of the track locations I think the point is though, why do the fans have to do it? Shouldn't the British Speedway Promoters' Association actually be trying to promote their member tracks?
