This is one the Pirates surely can't lose, can they? Chris Morton is a bigger fool as team manager than Middlo and the Aces are a bit of a poor team; donkeys led by a donkey, in fact. If this one goes badly wrong for Matt Ford's troops, "Outraged of Dorset" might well have to be placed on suicide watch.

And Poole win, just about: POOLE..461..B Pedersen..3,3,2,1',1 = 10+12..A Dryml..1,0,1,0 = 23..J Screen..3,0,3,3 = 94..D Davidsson..2',1,2',3 = 8+25..C Holder..3,3,3,2,3 = 146..T Piszcz..1,0,0 = 17..P Hurry..0,0,0,2',0 = 2+1BELLE VUE..441..K Kasprzak..2,3,2,3,2 = 122..J Wright..0,2',3,1' = 6+23..U Ostergaard..0,1',0 = 1+14..B Forsberg..1,2,1,2 = 65..C Gjedde..1',2,1 = 4+16..M Risager..3,1',0,1 = 5+17..P Hougaard..2',2,2',3,0,1',0 = 10+3Taken from: www.speedwayupdates.proboards103.comBut the Pirates still don't look convincing - the reserves are very poor and it doesn't look like Ales Dryml is going to be the solution in the main body of the team. Still, a much better performance from Daniel Davidsson, now, can he repeat the trick away from Wimborne Road? I doubt it.

Now, now Kev. You're coming across as just as obsessed with our dear friend Shovvy as the majority of posters on the BSF. Icome on here for a break from him and his female sidekick and the wake from their wash. Don't spoil it please. Decent meeting yesterday - Mort did make a howler in heats 12 and 13 it's true, but we'll take it. Going to be so glad when these damned 12 meetings are out of the way. All of this feels like the prelude to the main event, and you just can't get excited about it. Ales, bless him, looks a pale shadow of his former self. He reminds me of Chris Louis on his initial return from him injuries, and Chris Manchester too going back a while. He's in the mix from the starts, but as soon as a ride gets close to put the pressure on, he backs off. A real, real pity and not good to see. I really like the Dryml brothers, but wonder in Ales' case whether a return to the track was the wisest thing. Having said that, i'm told he's riding well on the continent...

Having said that, i'm told he's riding well on the continent... Both Drymls are without a ride in Sweden this year. Back home in the Czech Republic they're doing well (double figures last time I looked), but the opposition isn't so strong. Edited for a rogue apostrophe.

It was the Czecho scores that I was told about. Seems it's a limited part of the story then. Thanks Schumi.

Ales never did seem to have the mental strength of his brother Lukas, who has had his fair share of injuries, but still yields to none on the track.

True, although it seems, strangely, that Lukas has actually become more ruthless on track since his and his brother's bad crashes - certainly in the few times I've seen him anyway. Sure a psychologist could have an interesting time interpreting that one!

Point taken Squirlski, and if I have to get a bollocking on here I can't think of anyone better than you to do it.
