Anyway, can you choose the Mutt's Nuts so that we can get on with a fresh week. I think you're missing a question mark in that sentence. Do you think so.

May at the Messiahdome should've ended with a visit from the mighty King's Lynn, but the heathen Tigers have deferred that until a later date, preferring to try a little re-staged KO Cup action against the Somerset Rebels instead. The first effort was washed out after seven races earlier this month, so, to re-cap, Glasgow are trailing by a mere two points after the first leg and look favourites to progress. The teams:
Glasgow
1..Shane "the Messiah" Parker 2..Ross "missing, but not missed" Brady..R/R 3..Robin "earning a nickname in the meeting" Tornqvist 4..Josh "trainee Peter Juul" Grajczonek 5..James "heathen No 1" Parker 6..Mitchell "bloody hell, he's scoring points" Davey 7..Lee "not so" Smart
Somerset
1..Emil Kramer 2..Justin "making up the numbers" Sedgmen 3..Simon "can only ride the OTA" Walker 4..Cory Gathercole 5..Steve Johnston 6..Tom "making up the numbers" Brown 7..Jay "making up the numbers" Herne
All eyes will no doubt be on Robin Tornqvist as the Tigers march into the next round.

Bad day in the office for the Tiggers, New Swede does nowt, Glasgow go out and Grieves breaks a leg, not good and a quick recovery for Grieves. Good grief, sounds like a disaster for Glasgow, especially with Grieves only second in their averages (although he won be a No 1 practically anywhere else). Hope it's not a bad break and he's back as soon as is possible.

Yes, the Tigers win on the day but lose out on aggregate by one point: GLASGOW..45 [89]1..S Parker..1',2,3,2,3 = 11+12..R Brady..R/R 3..R Tornqvist..0,1',0,0 = 1+14..J Grajczonek..3,2,0,1,0 = 65..J Grieves..3,3,3,1',0 = 10+16..M Davey..2,0,2',0 = 4+17..L Smart..3,1,1',3,1,3,1 = 13+18..A McKinna = DNRSOMERSET..44 [90]1..E Kramer..3,3,2,0,0 = 82..J Sedgmen..0,0,2,0 = 23..S Walker..2,0,2,2 = 64..C Gathercole..1',1,1',3 = 6+25..S Johnston..2,3,2',3,2 = 12+16..T Brown..2,0,1',3,1' = 7+27..J Herne..1',0,M,2' = 3+2Taken from: users.boardnation.com/~easy_tiger/Bad news about Grieves - hopefully the injury isn't too bad and he'll soon be back on track. Speaking of being "on track", it looks like the "trainee Messiah" is losing his way. Very disappointing start from Tornqvist. Congratulations to the Rebels on progressing into the next round of the KO Cup.

Well, that is good news. Followed by not so good news - Tornqvist not going to be conquering the twin peaks, I take it?

Gutted and shocked that Glasgow went out of the competition. Good news that Grieves has no break. Hopefully the new Swede will get better. Who does he ride for in Sweden?
At least you had the Rangers win to celebrate yesterday, Paulco. You'll be crying next week when the Bairns beat you ;D

You'll be crying next week when the Bairns beat you ;D Funnily enough that's what Lioness's husband said to me too ;D Watched the football in the Ashfield Arms just outside the stadium , and what an experience that was . They had the Rangers game on one side of the pub and the Celtic game on at the other end ..............................erm you can guess the rest ;D Will you and Kev be attending the Pairs this year Braveheart ?

So the last day of May brings a visit to the Messiahdome from the Workington Comics . Despite being more top heavy than a certain Ashfield patron , the Barbarians don't seem capable of collecting too many away points . But the buggers always go well round our place . It's a bit of a hobbled together Tigers team this week . The permanently injured Mrs Brady is still missing , Scotland's number 1 got pretty banged up last week and his participation is in doubt , and the Trainee Messiah is away god knows where riding for the Australian under 21s . So Sunday's teams could be Glasgow Tigers 1 The Messiah 2 Latest foreign diddy 3 R/R for Trainee Messiah 4 Ann Summers guesting for Mrs Brady 5 Scotland's numbero uno or Travis McGowan kidding on he's Scotland's number 1 6 Mitchell " please don't fall off when leading " Davey 7 Lee " reserve superstar " Smart
Barbarian Comics 1 Berwick Reject 2 Lesser Wright 3 Kevin " i'm shite at Ashfield " Doolan 4 Son of Steve 5 Andre the terrible 6 Craig Cook 7 Lesser Branney
referee this week is Dave Dowling and we're back to a 4pm start .

And the Trainee Messiah is away god knows where riding for the Australian under 21s . He's off to Abensberg in Germany, along with the "invisible speedway rider", "screwy Lewis" and "Wuffy, Wuffy, Wuffy". Edit: And according to our beloved First Lady, Mitchell Davey is joining the fun in Abensberg as well.
